Hi, I’m Claire

A former primary school teacher with over 10 years’experience in the classroom, and now a certified yoga instructor for both adults and children. I left traditional teaching to focus on what I felt I couldn’t fully provide in the classroom: personalised support for students with neurodivergent needs and those who were falling behind.

Having worked closely with children in the classroom, I saw first-hand how difficult it can be for students to keep up and for teachers to provide the individual attention they need. That inspired me to create Confidence to Grow, a tutoring service that supports children in reaching their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education (Junior Primary, Primary Teaching)

  • Vinyasa, Yin, Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teacher

Specialising in Primary School Learning (Kindergarten to Year 7)

  • Early identification and support for learning gaps, with personalised intervention programs

  • Strong foundations in reading, writing and spelling

  • Developing confidence and enjoyment in Literacy through book-making and creative projects

  • Building essential number skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

  • Understanding fractions through hands-on activities that develop multiplicative thinking
